Something's wrong?
What if a channel won't play at all?
Rivue quietly tries another copy of the channel before bothering you.

Sometimes a source rejects a stream outright — you tune, and instead of video you get an error.
What Rivue does on its own
When a live channel fails, Rivue checks whether another copy of the same channel exists — for example the same station in another playlist — and automatically tries one, silently. Rejected sources fail fast, so the fallback happens in seconds rather than after a long wait. Channels that keep failing are remembered and ranked last in Combined Mode.
What to try
- Long-press the channel and open Sources — pick a different copy by hand.
- Open Settings → Playlists & Sources and check the playlist's status; use Reload Playlists if it shows a problem.
- Run Run Connection Diagnostics in the same section — it tests your network path and measures the response time of each playlist.
- If every channel from one playlist fails, the account with that service may have expired — check the expiry shown on the playlist card.
Tip — If it keeps happening, send us a playback log right after the problem: open Settings → Playlists & Sources → Diagnostics → Share Playback Log and email it to support@rivue.tv. The log records what the player actually did, which is what pins down the cause. (Log sharing is available on iPhone, iPad and Mac.)
