Remotes & TV Sign-In
Use your iPhone as a remote
Pair your phone to control Rivue on a Mac, iPad or Apple TV — including typing.

Your iPhone can drive Rivue on the big screen: navigate, tune channels, play and pause, adjust volume — and type into search from the phone keyboard instead of pecking letters with a remote.
Pair once
- Open Rivue on the iPhone and tap the round orange remote button in the corner of the main screen.
- Rivue lists the screens it finds on your Wi-Fi — tap the one you want, then tap Pair.
- A 6-digit code appears on the big screen. Type it on the phone. Done — pairing is once per device.
What you can do
- Navigate with the directional pad, select, and go back or home.
- Play / pause, jump 10 seconds, change channel and volume, or stop playback.
- Type into search on the big screen — every keystroke lands live.
A green Verified badge means the connection is encrypted and the phone confirmed it is talking to the exact screen you paired with. If you see "Unverified connection", update Rivue on the other device to secure it.
Tip — Manage access on the host under Settings → Account & Sync → Remote Control: turn Allow Phone Remote off entirely, or Revoke a paired phone — it then needs a fresh code to connect again.
